This position with Rustic Crust is actually 3 main positions in one.
I am in charge of all production planning for two ten hour shifts handling product and manpower. The second piece of this position is warehouse management. This includes the
inventories of all finished goods along with all production materials and ingredients. My staff and I handle all shipping, receiving and delivery scheduling. The third part is purchasing of all raw materials, packaging and MRO supplies. It is a culmination of all of the years of Supply Chain Management background that I have all combined into one position.

Logistics Manager
The position of Logistics Manager was more than the title describes. I was responsible for all global logistics operations for the entire company handling seven million dollars in freight annually. I also handled quoting and sourcing of all products & services for the company and handled all contract negotiations for the company. My other main task was total control of all inventory management in the warehouses across the country. We had warehouses in Chicago, New York, Dallas & California. Do full annual inventories and do warehouse assessments of all locations.

Materiels Manager
My tasks as Materiels Manager include all aspects of running the Materiels Department.
I am involved in the day to day operations of Bar-code scanning the hospital & seven off-site facilities, delivery of these products and also the reorder of all products back into the warehouse.
Other daily tasks are to work with all users at Frisbie on the online ordering of product from the warehouse and the direct orders coming from outside sources. I have worked extensively on the AS-400 & I-series computer systems with upgrades and building/re-building the Item Master to become more efficient and easier for the end user to work with. I am the Forms Committee Chairperson, I am a member of the New Products Committee and I also am a member of the Charge Master Review Team. I am the liaison for Information Services with any and all computer issues pertaining to Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, Receiving and the Item Master files. We operate three separate Asset locations and twenty-two different expense locations.

Purchasing Manager
My tasks as Purchasing Manager were quite varied. I did the daily purchasing of all raw materials for manufacturing latex gloves which consists of many bulk tank chemicals all the way down to three separate laboratories. This also meant controlling the delivery schedules of all raw products and had to perform daily inventories. Other tasks included purchasing and inventory control of the complete stock of all MRO purchasing for this facility. This included a large tool crib and a complete parts inventory for 10 glove machines valued at $750,000.00 per machine. I helped build and maintain their computer system files, set-up inventory levels and interface it to the purchasing module.
